An author of Romance, Mystery, Suspense, and Paranormal, Kim Cox lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina with her chainsaw artist husband and their fur babies. She’s also a mother and grandmother.

Kim is published in novels, short stories, and articles.  While firmly believing she can do anything she sets her mind to, Kim embarked on self-publishing in 2015. Since retiring from her day job in 2018, she designs book cover websites. She’s a graduate of Writer’s Digest’s Writing to Sell Fiction and NRI’s Fiction Writing and has associate degrees in the fields of Office Systems Technology and Web Technologies.

12 Random Facts About Me

1. I love coffee and I drink it black. Stopped drinking sodas long ago. When I did drink sodas, I preferred Mountain Dew, and I can’t stand it now.
2. I didn’t like to read growing up, mostly because I couldn’t find many books that interested me. Now almost everything interests me.
3. I’m a television aholic. Love forensic and mystery shows. Also love some syfi, such as Falling Skies, Dark Matter, and Colony. Enjoy drama television shows but hate drama in real life.
4. Love playing with our furry babies – see images below.
5. Normally, I prefer dogs to cats but I’ve had two cats that I bonded with more than the dogs we’ve owned. Most of our dogs love my husband best. He’s the treat giver.
6. My favorite meal is a ribeye steak, baked potato, and salad.
7. My favorite dessert is banana pudding or strawberry short cake (love yum yum too).
8. Prefer positivity and stay away from negative people as much as possible.
9. All Time Favorite Famous Authors: Mary Higgins Clark and Sidney Sheldon.
10. Don’t have a favorite book, but I have many favorite books.
11. I don’t have a favorite song, band, or singer, though I love many. Love Southern Rock.
12. I prefer the mountains to the beach but could live at either. If you believe in predictions, the North Carolina Mountains may one day be beach-front property. Viewing scenic images makes me believe God is an awesome artist.
